Hello! I am Michiko Tone, a professional culinary instructor and recipe developer working across Japan's food industry — and I would love to welcome you to my Tokyo studio.

The Studio
Classes are held at my private cooking studio Manabiya NORI, a 5-minute walk from Ikegami Station on the Tokyu Ikegami Line — about 20 minutes from Shinagawa and easy to reach from central Tokyo. The exact address and a simple route guide are sent after booking.

Please tell me when you book — I adjust menus for allergies, and vegetarian or vegan guests are always welcome.
Can children join?
Yes. I teach children every week in my Japanese cooking school, and my classes are designed to be safe and fun for young cooks.
Who will teach my class?
Classes are usually taught by Michiko herself. On some dates, your class may be led by one of Michiko's certified instructors — teachers she has personally trained and certified through her own instructor program. You will always know who your teacher is when your booking is confirmed.
I have never cooked before. Is that OK?
Absolutely. Most of my guests are complete beginners. I will guide you step by step.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the class.
How do I pay?
Once your date is confirmed, you will receive a secure online payment link by email — you can pay by credit card in a few minutes. Your spot is secured when payment is completed.
